Catherine Candland - CEO

Catherine Candland is a recognized industry leader and expert on talent solutions and human capital management. Ms. Candland has been recognized by the American Staffing Association for creativity and industry advancement and has pioneered initiatives that have changed the staffing industry.

In addition, Catherine is an active member of the business community, serving on numerous boards and initiatives linking human capital and workforce solutions with the public, private and higher education communities. These include the New York Federal Reserve Bank Boards Advisory Council, Chairman of the Workplace, Inc., Executive Committee and Board member for The Business Council, Ct. Governor’s Transportation Task Force, Metropolitan Board of Trade, and Columbia University’s Entrepreneurship program.

She has been the recipient of numerous awards for her work in the area of leadership and entrepreneurship and is a frequent public speaker on numerous issues relating to Human Capital leadership.

Helen Gobin - President

Helen Gobin has more than 20 years’ of experience in the Hospitality Staffing Industry. She is currently the President and CEO of Unique Staffing Solutions LLC, a minority-owned company located in Philadelphia. Prior to serving as President and CEO of Unique Staffing Solutions, Ms. Gobin successfully served the Couva Hospital community as Personnel Director for 10 years before leaving her native Trinidad to immigrate to the United States in 1985.

In 1990, Ms Gobin was appointed as Manager of Hospitality at the Hampton Inn In Newark, New Jersey. In 1999 Unique Staffing, Inc. was formed to provide administrative/clerical and hospitality support services to business and organizations in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. In tune with the needs of the community, Ms. Gobin focuses on assisting low-skilled workers with training and professional development.
