Catherine C. Candland is recognized as an industry leader

Ms. Candland is recognized as a business leader and innovator
by the industry, the media, and the communities served by Advantage
Human Resourcing. Under her direction for the past 18 years,
Advantage Human Resourcing has pioneered initiatives that have
changed the staffing industry. Among these innovations are:

selection process for identifying successful Talent for each

- Industry-specific practice areas to ensure a complete understanding
of Client needs, including the challenges, opportunities,
and skills required to be successful, by industry.

Ms. Candland is an active member of the business community. She
serves on the Board and the Executive Committee of The Business
Council of Southwestern Connecticut (SACIA) and is Chair of SACIA's
Fairfield County Information Exchange. She is a Board member of
Norwalk Community College; the Connecticut Business and Industry
Association; and The Workplace, Inc., where she is also on the
Executive Committee. By invitation, she serves on the (Connecticut)
Governor's Council on Economic Competitiveness and Technology.
At the request of the Connecticut Speaker of the House,
she co-chaired one of the working groups of the Transportation
Summit 2000.
A frequent public speaker, Ms. Candland is often cited by
the media on workforce, staffing, skills training, and human
resources issues. Fortune, Entrepreneur Magazine, and
Ms. Magazine have recognized and written about her entrepreneurial
skills.
Recently, Working Woman selected Advantage Human Resourcing
as #122 of the top 500 women-owned businesses in the U.S. Clients
and Associates alike have recognized Advantage Human Resourcing
for its leadership, integrity and innovation. Advantage is proud
to be winner of three American Staffing Association awards for

in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Ms. Candland lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with her husband
and three daughters.
